Side-by-side, we have photos from of the robot and screen shot from inventor of the same part. At times, the resemblance will be so striking that you may not be able to tell photo from screen shot, but that might just be a glitch in the matrix...

Seeing as how the claw base is made out of Aluminum, we couldn't weld this nice sprocket to it, so here's what we did instead.

This Van Door Motor lifts our arm with the strength of a thousand men. Actually, it's just the 4.5x gear reduction that allows us to produce the torque to counter the moment of the claw holding the ball.

Look at that swiss cheesing on our battery holder! Thanks Howye. (Next we'll swiss cheese the battery...)

This is a vast improvement over control boards of the past two years. The key, is both planning and having lots of space. Nearly the entire top deck is space reserved for the control board.

Houston, I think we have a problem... This is our STRATEGICALLY positioned robot controller radio. Yeah, can't have that metal shielding the antenna.
